DC Universe Classics Green Lantern Pack Green Lantern

Hal Jordan hands down is the greatest Green Lantern there has ever been. With humble beginnings as a Air Force test pilot in Coast City, Hal was chosen by the power ring to become the next galactic police officer of Sector 2814. After searching for a replacement on earth, the ring chose him for his ability to overcome fear. His new duty to protect and serve all life in the Sector came after a dying alien named Abin Sur crashed landed on earth. As he patrolled the galaxy and took on several missions in space, he went on to become one of the founding members of the Justice League.

This Hal Jordan figure was released under DC Universe Classics Green Lantern figure pack line. In this particular line, Green Lantern is linked up with his predecessor, Abin Sur. The two share the same power battery in the package with both of their rings pointing toward it. The figure is really well put together. His body is a leaner type, yet muscular, similar to the Batman and Superman figures. The Four Horsemen really did a great job with the body sculpting on these figures. Everything looks to be identical between the figure and his comic book character. The paint on his costume, his power ring, and the detailing in his hair all look great.

Surprisingly, articulation is really good on this figure. His head, shoulders, arms, torso, waist, thighs, knees, and ankles all have articulation points. One thing I really like about this variation of the Green Lantern figure, is his shoulders are black instead of the green you see on the World’s Greatest Hero’s line. Even though it’s something so simple, I think it’s a nice touch that differentiates the figure.
